El tema es que Zaffa despierta el rechazo de los sectores mas retrógrados de la sociedad y el mundo jurídico en especial.Durante el proceso de selección, recibo un total de 40 impugnaciones y cantidad de agravios en los medios de comunicaciones.
Acostumbrados a tiempos pasados, quienes operaron contra la designación del reconocido jurista se olvidaron que desde mayo teníamos un Presidente que no estaba dispuesto a dejar sus convicciones en la puerta de la Casa Rosada.
Finalmente, Zaffaroni logró el acuerdo del Senado y aún continua desempeñando funciones como juez de la Corte Suprema. Este sería el primero pero no el último de los cambios impulsados por el Pingüno en el máximo tribunal.
